Does the Ecovacs O1200 LiDAR Pro require a boundary wire?

No. This is one of its most significant advantages over traditional robotic mowers. It uses Multiline LiDAR combined with a 3D ToF sensor and AI camera to map your garden and define its working area. You set the boundaries through the ECOVACS app. There is no need to bury or lay any perimeter wire, which saves considerable time during installation and avoids the risk of accidentally cutting through a wire later.
