Does the Mammotion Luba 2 AWD 3000X need perimeter wires installed around the garden?

No. This is one of its biggest practical advantages over older robot mowers. It uses a combination of RTK satellite positioning and UltraSense AI Vision cameras to map and navigate the garden.
