Does this mower need boundary wires installed around the garden?

The Suntek SRM2025 uses AI Pure Vision technology to recognise its operating area visually. It maps the lawn automatically on its first run and works within those boundaries without any wire installation. This makes setup significantly faster and avoids the hassle of burying cables.

How large a lawn can this mower handle?

The mower is rated for lawns up to 250m². With a cutting width of 20cm and a maximum speed of 0.4m/s it can cover up to 120m² per hour. So a 250m² lawn would take just over two hours of active mowing. The auto-return and self-charging function means it can return to base mid-session if needed and resume automatically.

Can it cope with a sloped or uneven garden?

Yes. The mower handles slopes up to 35°. That's a fairly steep gradient steeper than most robotic mowers which typically cap out at 20° - 25°. The 20V 2.5Ah power system combined with brushless rear-wheel drive provides the traction needed for uneven terrain. If your garden has banks, raised sections or general undulation this mower is built to handle it.

What happens if it starts raining while the mower is working?

The mower has an IPX5 waterproof rating which means it can withstand direct water spray. More usefully it also has a built-in rain sensor. When rainfall is detected the mower automatically stops its cutting cycle and returns to the charging base.
