Namvi Robot Lawnmower (Red, Up To 1500m²)

Satellite Navigation Lawnmower Robot

From: Namvi

The Namvi Robot Lawnmower is a battery-powered, app-controlled mowing robot built for large gardens up to 1500m². It runs on a 20V 5Ah battery giving 120 minutes of runtime per charge and covers 100m² per hour. Setup is straightforward lay the boundary wire, peg it down and connect the charging station.

Once connected to the app, you can schedule and control mowing from anywhere in the world. The mower handles slopes up to 25% (14°) thanks to larger wheels and a lighter 9kg body. Its built-in sensors detect obstacles and automatically stop the blades.

Running at just 60dB, it's genuinely quiet. The fully waterproof, sealed design means it works in rain and cleans easily with a hosepipe. Three rotary blades cut between 20mm and 55cm height.

Product Features

Intelligent Satellite Navigation - Rather than mowing randomly, this robot uses satellite navigation to work methodically across your lawn. This means more consistent coverage and less missed patches. For a 1500m² garden, that kind of precision matters random-pattern mowers often leave uncut strips that require manual intervention. 25% Slope Capability - Most entry-level robot mowers struggle beyond 15% gradients. This unit handles up to 25% (14°) slopes thanks to larger rear wheels and a deliberately lighter 9kg body. If your garden has banks, terraces or uneven ground, this is a significant practical advantage over flatter-rated competitors. App Control From Anywhere - Connect via the mobile app and you can set mowing schedules, adjust settings or start a session from any location worldwide. This means your lawn can be maintained while you're away. No need to be home the mower returns to its charging station automatically when the job is done or the battery runs low.
Ultra-Quiet 60dB Operation - At 60dB, this mower is quieter than a normal conversation (typically 65dB). You can run it early morning or during the evening without disturbing neighbours. Petrol mowers average 95dB the difference is dramatic. This makes it practical to schedule mowing at off-peak times without noise complaints. Fully Waterproof Sealed Design - The machine seal design protects all internal components from moisture. This means it can operate during light rain without damage. It also makes cleaning simple lift the lid and rinse with a hosepipe. No delicate electronics exposed. This extends the working life of the unit considerably compared to non-sealed designs. Automatic Obstacle Detection & Blade Stop - Built-in sensors detect obstacles in the mower's path and trigger an automatic turn. Critically, the blades stop spinning when an obstacle is detected not just when the mower changes direction. This is an important safety feature for gardens where children, pets or garden furniture may be present.

FAQs

How do you set up the boundary wire?

You lay the boundary wire around the perimeter of your lawn and secure it using the pegs provided in the box. The wire defines the area the mower will work within. Once the wire is down, you position the charging station and connect everything to the app on your smartphone. The setup process is designed to be done yourself without professional installation. The mower will not cross the boundary wire, so it's important to lay it accurately around any flower beds, ponds or areas you want to exclude.

What size lawn can this mower handle?

The mower is rated for lawns up to 1500m². It works at a rate of 100m² per hour and has a 120-minute battery life per charge. That gives it a working capacity of roughly 200m² per charge cycle. For larger lawns up to the 1500m² maximum, the mower will return to its charging station, recharge (which takes approximately 180 minutes) and then continue mowing automatically. You do not need to manage this process manually.

Can it cope with a sloped garden?

Yes. This mower is rated to handle slopes of up to 25% gradient (14°). It achieves this through a combination of larger wheels and a lighter body design the unit weighs 9kg. Many standard robot mowers are only rated to around 15% slopes, so this model is better suited to gardens with banks or uneven terrain. That said, if your slope exceeds 25%, the mower may struggle to maintain traction and consistent cutting.

How loud is it during operation?

The mower operates at 60dB. To put that in context, a normal face-to-face conversation is around 65dB and a petrol lawnmower typically produces 90 - 95dB. At 60dB you will hear it running but it will not disrupt conversation or disturb neighbours in the way a conventional mower would. This makes it practical to schedule mowing during early mornings or evenings when you'd rather not cause noise disturbance.

Can it be used in the rain?

Yes. The mower has a machine seal design that protects its internal components from water ingress. It can be used during rainy days without risk of damage to the motor or electronics. It also has a rain detection sensor, which means it can be configured to respond to wet conditions automatically. The waterproof design also makes cleaning straightforward you can lift the lid and wash the unit down with a hosepipe rather than having to wipe it carefully by hand.

How does the obstacle detection work?

The mower has built-in sensors that detect when it encounters an obstacle. When triggered, two things happen: the mower changes direction to navigate around the obstacle and the blades automatically stop spinning. This blade-stop feature is particularly important for safety. If a pet or child moves into the mower's path, the blades will cut out on contact rather than continuing to spin. The mower then resumes once it has moved clear of the obstacle.

What are the cutting height options?

The cutting height is adjustable between 20mm at the lowest setting and 55cm at the highest. This gives a reasonable range for most domestic lawns. A lower cut of around 20 - 30mm suits fine ornamental lawns while a higher setting of 40 - 55mm is better for hardwearing family lawns or during dry spells when cutting too short can stress the grass. The three rotary blades deliver a cutting width of 19cm per pass.

What's included in the box and what do I need to buy separately?

The packing list states that the box contains 1 x Lawn Mower Robot. The product description references boundary wire, pegs and a charging station as part of the setup. It is advisable to confirm with the seller exactly what is included before purchasing, particularly regarding the length of boundary wire provided, as the amount of wire needed will vary significantly depending on your lawn's shape and size. For a 1500m² lawn with an irregular shape, you may require a considerable length of wire to mark the full perimeter accurately.
