Segway Navimow i105E Robotic Lawn Mower (Grey)

Robotic Lawn Mower

From: Segway

The Segway Navimow i105E is a wire-free robotic lawn mower that uses EFLS 2.0 RTK + Vision navigation to cut your grass with centimetre-level accuracy. No boundary wires to bury. No complicated installation. Set up takes just a few taps on your smartphone.

It covers a recommended area of 500m² and handles slopes up to 45% gradient. The 5.1 Ah battery covers 250m² per charge. With a 3WD drivetrain and 18cm cutting width it handles uneven terrain well. Cutting height adjusts from 2cm to 6cm across 5 positions.

The 140° wide-angle AI camera detects over 150 types of obstacles far beyond what basic ultrasonic sensors can manage. Multi-zone scheduling, real-time tracking and over-the-air firmware updates are all handled through the Navimow app. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity are all included as standard.

Product Features

EFLS 2.0 RTK + Vision Navigation - RTK satellite positioning gives centimetre-level accuracy across your lawn. The AI Vision system fills in the gaps in tricky spots under trees or through narrow passages where GPS signal can weaken. The result is straight mowing lines with no missed patches and no boundary wires needed. Wire-Free Boundary Setup - Forget spending a weekend burying perimeter cables. You drive the mower around your lawn using the app controls and it maps the boundary automatically. The AI Assist Mapping feature can even detect lawn edges on its own during setup. The whole process takes minutes rather than hours. 45% Slope Capability - Many robot mowers struggle beyond 25-30% gradients. This model handles slopes up to 45% (24°) thanks to its 3WD drivetrain. That means it can tackle genuinely steep garden sections that would defeat most competitors. If your garden has a significant incline this is a key practical advantage.
150+ Obstacle Detection - The integrated 140° wide-angle camera combined with AI algorithms identifies over 150 types of garden objects. Traditional bumper or ultrasonic systems simply react on contact or detect basic shapes. This system recognises what it's looking at children's toys, plant pots, garden furniture and navigates around them safely before making contact. Multi-Zone App Management - The Navimow app lets you divide your garden into separate zones with individual mowing schedules. You can monitor progress in real time, adjust cutting times remotely and track exactly where the mower is working. The optional Access+ add-on adds theft tracking. Over-the-air updates mean the software improves over time without any manual intervention. 5.1 Ah Battery & Auto-Return - The 5.1 Ah battery covers 250m² per charge. When power runs low the mower returns to its charging station automatically then resumes where it left off. For a 500m² lawn it will simply recharge mid-job and carry on. Customers report it handles this cycle reliably without supervision.

FAQs

Do I need to bury boundary wires with the Segway Navimow i105E?

No. This is one of the biggest practical advantages of this model. It uses RTK satellite navigation combined with AI Vision to map and stay within your lawn boundaries virtually. You set the boundary by driving the mower around your lawn using the smartphone app or let the AI Assist Mapping do it automatically. There are no cables to bury, no pegs to hammer in and no risk of accidentally cutting through a wire later. Customers consistently highlight this as the main reason they chose this mower over alternatives.

What lawn size is this mower suitable for?

The recommended working area is 500m² with a maximum capacity of 600m². The battery covers approximately 250m² per charge, so for larger lawns up to the 500m² recommendation it will recharge mid-job and continue automatically. If your lawn is significantly larger than 500m² this model may not be the right fit and you should consider a higher-capacity model. For gardens under 500m² it handles the job without issue according to customer feedback.

How steep a slope can this mower handle?

The mower handles slopes up to 45% gradient (24°). This is achieved through its 3WD drivetrain which gives it better traction on inclines than many two-wheel-drive competitors. To put that in context, a 45% slope is quite steep steeper than most residential garden gradients. If your garden has a significant slope this is worth noting as a genuine capability rather than a marketing claim. That said, very wet or slippery grass can reduce traction on steep sections so conditions do matter.

How does the obstacle detection work and how reliable is it?

The mower uses a 140° wide-angle camera combined with AI algorithms trained to recognise over 150 types of common garden objects. This goes well beyond basic ultrasonic sensors which simply detect that something is in the way without identifying what it is. The AI system can recognise garden furniture, toys, plant pots and similar objects and navigate around them before making contact. Customer reviews describe the obstacle avoidance as effective in normal garden conditions. The system is not infallible very small or low-lying objects may still present a challenge but it performs significantly better than bumper-based systems.

Is the setup process complicated?

Setup requires installing the GNSS antenna in a position with a clear view of the sky, setting up the charging station and connecting the power supply. The antenna should ideally be at least 2 metres from buildings or large shrubs for best signal quality though some customers report good results with slightly less clearance. Mapping the lawn boundary is done through the app. Most customers describe the initial setup as manageable with some patience. The app controls for driving the mower during boundary mapping have a short learning curve but most users get comfortable within a few minutes. Proper placement of the antenna and a reliable outdoor power supply are the two factors customers most often highlight as important to get right.

What connectivity does the mower support and what can I control via the app?

The mower supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity. Through the Navimow app you can create and edit mowing maps, set individual schedules for multiple zones, start and stop mowing remotely, manually drive the mower and track its real-time progress. One year of Connect+ is included free which enables the cellular features. Over-the-air firmware updates are delivered automatically so the mower's software improves over time. The optional Access+ accessory adds theft location tracking if that is a concern.

How quiet is this mower during operation?

Customer reviews consistently describe the mower as quiet during normal operation. It produces a low hum rather than the loud engine noise of a petrol mower. Several customers specifically mention being able to run it without disturbing neighbours. It does emit an audible alert when it encounters a problem or needs attention but during standard mowing it operates at a low noise level. This makes it practical to schedule mowing during daytime hours without causing disruption.

What is included in the box and is any assembly required?

The package includes the Navimow i105E robotic lawn mower, a power supply unit, a 10m power supply extension cable, a 10m antenna extension cable, 10 cable fixing pins, a charging station with installation kit, a GNSS antenna kit, an antenna installation kit, 9 replacement blades with screws and 2 user manuals. No assembly of the mower itself is required. The installation work involves positioning and mounting the charging station and GNSS antenna which requires some basic setup but no specialist tools. The 10m extension cables give reasonable flexibility in positioning both the antenna and the charging station.
